Most of the Big Ten teams--Indiana and Illinois excepting--could give the Top 25 a run for their money. The last time was 1995, by the way, when they went undefeated but lost the national title to Tom Osborne's Cornhuskers...because they couldn't play them. Ever since then they've "split" the national title. I so wish the Lions hadn't been locked into the Rose Bowl that year. I'll be rooting for Notre Dame this coming weekend, so that Penn State can have a better chance of making it to Pasadena this year. I know, they’re not as bad of a team as everyone says they are.
