The contractor who is doing our repair work on the house dropped off a load of materials late this afternoon. Work should begin in the morning. We are thankful that the rain has been few and far between over the past two weeks (and that no more trees have fallen).

We woke up to the sounds of scraping overhead. Pam said that by 10:00 the roof looked like it did before the accident.
We are still waiting on the guy who does the gutter work, as well as the man who will replace the soffit and siding. The siding is our biggest concern, as seven pieces need to be replaced, but if there is significant fading then all of it on that side should be replaced. We’re not sure if the insurance company will (easily) pay for the latter.
That whole incident stinks. Hopefully since the house is so new you will not be able to notice a difference in the new and exsisting siding.
What a nightmare.
