Our first vacation of the summer was a whirlwind trip to Allensville, Pennsylvania for our annual Kennedy family reunion. With the tree falling on our house while we were gone, I almost forgot to say anything about the reunion on the blog.
We had a good time visiting with family, that is, with with those who attended. It seems that participation has waned in the last five years. I am going to try to spark some interest for next year by putting together a website. If something does not change soon, then the reunion will probably end when the oldest generation dies off.
Below is a collage from our trip. Clockwise and top left: 1) My niece Megan and the kids near Pecht’s (an Amish country store); 2) Isabel making a mess of her chocolate ice cream; 3) My dad and the grandkids; and 4) Aidan and me playing with foam jet fighters.

Update: Below are a couple additional images that I sized at 525 x 700…perfect for a desktop background (centered…not stretched).

I actually have a couple others of just her that might work even better. What’s the resolution on your monitor? I can size ‘em just right for you.
