Someone started a blog for the Lookout Mountain Soccer League. You can see a photo of Aidan in this post (third one from the top…right above the photo of Aidan Cooley).
Speaking of Aidans, I got to meet our new neighbors this evening. They have a son named Aidan, too. We picked Aidan as a “fits-in/stands-out” name, but I have seen it climb as high as #1 on many recent baby names lists. I wonder if there will be a dozens of Aidans in Aidan’s high school–kind of like how there were Jennifers galore back when I was a teen?

It seems lately that everyone I run in to who is expecting a boy is considering Aidan for name…and I know a number of other families who already have an Aidan (including the guy you met who I work with – the bike rider?). BTW, there are quite a few Isabelle’s too.
That one is in the top ten for girls, too, and we picked it completely outside of the “trend.” Isabel was my maternal grandmother’s middle name. At least we spell it differently than the majority (-elle ending). We have some friends with an Isabel(le), too.
hmmm. . .i know LOTS of kiddos in those pics.
as well as LOTS of the folks that commented.
Isabel(le), being Sp. for Elizabeth, was a few steps away from being my grandmother’s name. She was descended from Sp. Jews and her older sister was Racquel Esperanza (Rachel Hope).
