10/20 Labor Update

After fourteen hours (not including yesterday) we are at 6-7 centimeters. The only change over the last two hours has been a slight weakening of the epidural on one side. The doctor is here now and she is looking very intently at the monitor, saying that if there is no change in the next hour then “Kiki” is coming out.

    The doctor joked that the baby responded well to threats, but Pam and I saw it as an answer to prayer! A C-section was averted in that last hour!!! :D
